By becoming a NIEA member, you demonstrate your commitment to advancing Education Sovereignty for American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian students.  NIEA Members empower Native Students to thrive in the classroom and beyond. As a member, you help guide NIEA policy work, vote on resolutions, elect the NIEA Board of Directors, and provide vital financial support for programs and services. Please join today. Membership levels and associated benefits are indicated below. 

Please note that our membership cycle is from July 1 to June 30 to more closely match the academic year.

*Student memberships require proof of full-time student status (transcript, student ID, class schedule, etc.) which can be uploaded during the membership enrollment process.

** Elder members are those individuals aged 65 or older. Birthdate information must be input at time of enrollment for age verification.

† Scholly is an online scholarship search tool. This benefit is included in Student memberships but can be added to other member levels for an additional annual fee of $25.
