As the only national organization advocating for improved educational opportunities for Native students, NIEA convenes Native organizations and allied stakeholders to promote college, career, and community readiness in Native communities.NIEA connects tribal leaders, educators, and experts across the nation to provide innovative and culture-based resources and services, while engaging with congressional leaders and federal officials to ensure that Native students have the support necessary to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
NIEA works alongside tribal and state partners to ensure that Native students have access to excellent and culture-based education. NIEA works in coordination with states and districts to best support Native students throughout the country.
