Student Day 2025
Empowering the Next Generation of Native Leaders

Join us on Friday, October 10, 2025, in Spokane, WA, for Student Day at the 56th Annual NIEA Convention & Trade Show! This one-day, free event is open to Native students in 6th grade through postsecondary and creates a meaningful space to celebrate culture, explore identity, and build pathways to leadership.

Rooted in this year’s theme—“Empowering Sovereignty: Our Legacies, Our Futures”—Student Day is designed to inspire, connect, and uplift Native youth as they step into their power and shape their futures.

Students will participate in engaging workshops and sessions focused on:

  • Language revitalization

  • Student voice and advocacy

  • Mental health and well-being

  • Digital sovereignty and creative expression

  • Financial aid and scholarship readiness

  • College and career exploration

Come learn alongside peers, mentors, and educators from across Indian Country in a day centered on you—your story, your potential, and your future.
